Some Padlet features are built with photos, data and software that others have made available under licenses that ask for credit. This page gives that credit.

AR Camera Effects

The augmented reality (AR) effects in Padlet’s camera on the web and in our desktop app use face-tracking and person-segmentation models that run on your device. Our Privacy Policy explains how camera images are handled.

The face-tracking model was trained on 14,270 photos from the Open Images Dataset. Each photo is licensed by its author under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 license (CC BY 2.0). The photos were used only to train the model and are not included in Padlet.

The full list of photos, with each author, a link to the original photo and its license, is available as a spreadsheet of photo credits (CSV).

Open Images Annotations

The face annotations used to train the model are from the Open Images Dataset by Google LLC, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (CC BY 4.0).
